Ninety athletes participated in the 1st Correr e Caminhar com Saúde event, organized by the Itapetininga City Hall in partnership with the 22nd Military Police Battalion. Athletes received a chest kit upon registration and made a donation of a baby’s outfit for the Social Welfare Fund. The main results include Isabel Cristina da Silva Vaz winning the Women’s 5km category, Vicente Antônio da Silva topping the Men’s 5km category, Ana Helena claiming first place in the Women’s 10km category and Tiago Anderson Henrique dominating the men’s 10km category. In the military categories, Gislaine de Almeida Santos won the women’s 5km, Marcos Roberto Nunes Júnior took the top spot in the men’s 5km, and Ivan Façanha da Silva and Edson Moraes Souza Júnior secured first and second place respectively for the Men’s 10km.
